2024 Gold Day Beneficiaries

 “Help Us Change a Child’s Life”. 

We are hoping $15,000 or more will be raised from our 2024 Lions Charity Golf Day. 

Every dollar raised by Lions goes directly to the beneficiaries. 

1st  Beneficiary - Operations Smiles Project 

What is Operations Smiles Program ?  Every three minutes a child is born somewhere in the world with a cleft lip or palate, with facial deformities affecting more children each year than all childhood cancers combined. Operation Smile Australia coordinates medical missions where credentialed medical surgeons volunteer & travel to countries throughout Asia to provide free surgery creating sustainable life changing experiences for children, families, and communities.

The 2nd Beneficiary - Genome Lions Children’s Cancer Research Foundation 

Genome Lions Children’s Cancer Research Foundation will receive $5,000.  This Project is a global collaborative partnership which brings together state-of-the-art capability in whole genome sequencing and analysis at Garvan Institute.

The Third and Our Major Annual Project Beneficiary St George Hospital (SGH) Children’s wards 

$5,000 to help purchase equipment for St George Hospital (SGH) Children’s wards.
