About Oatley Lions
Oatley Lions has been providing community service to this area and beyond since it was chartered in 1977. The Club is made up of 29 community-minded members wishing to provide a service to those less fortunate. The Club is conscious of the diverse needs locally and extends its assistance to those areas affected by drought, fire and floods. It strongly supports the Children’s Mobility Foundation which provides assistance to disabled children to walk freely. In addition, the Club supports local schools and the St George Hospital Neo Natal Unit with the purchase of new technology for the treatment of premature babies at a cost of $46,000 raised through contribution from a generous community. Other similar projects have been completed or are currently being considered in light of our Motto “We Serve”.
