2022 Clean-up Australia Day
Oatley Lions have offered to assist Oatley Flora and Fauna to CLEAN UP AUSTRALIA
( Well a bit of it not the whole of Australia )

Sunday 6th March, 8.30 – 11.30 am
Meet: Jinna Reserve, at the bottom of Pamela Avenue, Peakhurst Heights
If you think you can attend, please let David Hamer (davidharmer@oatleylions.org.au) know so we can let Oatley Flora and Fauna how may Lions will assist. Participants should wear covered-in footwear, hats, gloves, and preferably long-sleeved shirts and long pants; bring sunscreen, insect repellent and a water bottle. A pair of tongs is handy. (We recommend gumboots for the Lime Kiln Bay Wetlands site; low tide at Oatley on 6 March is around 6.00am and high tide at about 12.20pm).

CUA will supply bags for each site and has provided the following advice:
Clean Up Australia has introduced a QR code that volunteers can scan to sign-in to the site on the day, eliminating the need to sign-in on the paper sheet and share pens, and to help with contact tracing.
Georges River Council will supply some additional bags and gloves, and arrange collection of the rubbish bags afterwards.
