Annual Charity Golf Day

ANNUAL OATLEY LIONS CHARITY GOLF DAY 2020

(A PROJECT FROM ST GEORGE LIONS and PROUDLY SPONSORED BY CLUB RIVERS)

was held on

FRIDAY 13th NOVEMBER 2020

and was a great success - raising more than $13,000.00 for:

- St George Hospital ~ $5,000 (towards our annual major project with Oatley Hotel)

- Operations Smiles Program ~ $4,000

- Children's Cancer Research - Genome DNA Mapping Global Project ~ $4,000

We are now planning Spring (October 2021) for our next Golf Day!

We have been working behind the scenes to ensure everyone involved in our Charity Golf Day have an enjoyable and safe event.

We have adjusted our plans to ensure we follow all the guidelines provided by the NSW government Health Department - so the event is "Covid Safe".

We will provide all participants with more instructions closer to the event - to ensure everyone has fun AND is safe. We have been working closely with Club Rivers to adjust our plans to meet their requirements.

Lions has been founded on its care for community and that has never been more important than now. As Lions we know that as a community working together we will have a great event and raise funds so our community can help those in need.
