ATTENTION PHOTOGRAPHERS !
Here's your chance to show your talents as a photographer and win some fabulous prizes.
Date: Saturday 15 October 2011 from 8.30am

Frederick St Oatley and the Oatley Memorial Gardens
Photographers are invited to come along to the Oatley Festival and create images that capture the fun and community spirit of the day. With two stages of live entertainment, marching bands, pony rides, face painting, Scottish Pipe Band, Animal Farm, Amusement Rides, 170 food and craft stalls, pie eating competition, bungy jumping rides....and more, there will be absolutely no shortage of photo opportunities. Prizes include Voxson 32" LCD Colour TV valued at $499, a Night Photography Workshop ($110), plus two photographer gift vouchers each valued at $150.
Photographers may each submit up to THREE PHOTOGRAPHS.
A selection of festival photos that have been submiited are now on display at the Commonwealth Bank Oatley until 31 October.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Photos must be taken at the Oatley Lions Village Festival on Saturday 15 October 2011.
Entries need to be submitted by 9.00pm on Tuesday 18 October 2011.
Submitted photos will initially need to be low resolution 72dpi (JPG). Entrants should use their surname when naming the photo files (eg smith_001.jpg). Finalists will be notified to supply their photos in high resolution 300dpi.
A judging panel headed by the Chief Photographer, St George Sutherland Shire Leader, will award prizes in three categories. The awards will be presented at the Post Festival function on Tuesday 25 October from 7.30pm at the Oatley Hotel. Participating photographers will retain copyright to their photos, but will permit their use to promote the Oatley Lions Festival in 2012.
